TSECL Recruitment Details
Post Name: Chairman and Member
No. of posts: 02 (Two)
Qualifications: The Chairman and Member shall be the persons of ability, integrity, standing who have adequate knowledge of and has shown capacity in dealing with problems relating to Engineering, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Law or Management or the requisite qualification to have been appointed as Judge of the High Court or a District Judge. ln case Chairman does not possess qualification to be appointed as Judge of the High Court or a District Judge, the Member must have this qualification.
Pay & allowances: The Chairman and Member of the Commission shall be appointed in the following Scale of Pay with other allowances as are admissible to corresponding Grade Officers of State Government: -
(i) Other then retired person:
# Level-21 of Tripura State Pay Matrix,2018 (ROP,2017) (Apex Scale (Rs.52000-77000/-) + GP NIL pre-revised) for Chairman
# Level-20 of Tripura State Pay Matrix,2018 (ROP,2017) (HAG + Scale (Rs.37400-67000/-) + GP Rs.8700/- pre-revised) for
(ii) For Retired Person:
# Remuneration will be fixed as per extant rules of Finance Department fur fixing remuneration for retired Government employees.
Age: The Chairman and Member shall hold office for a term of five years from the date he enters upon his office, or till he attains the age of sixty-five yean, whichever is earlier.
