CBSE Notification 2025
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an official advertisement announcement for the recruitment of 212 posts of Superintendent and Junior Assistant for direct recruitment on an All India Competitive Examination (AICE) basis. CBSE Recruitment Details
1. Superintendent
➥No. of posts: 142 [UR: 59, EWS: 14, OBC-NCL: 38, ST: 10 & SC: 21]
➥Essential: (i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Working knowledge of Computer/Computer Applications such as Windows, MS-Office, handling of large database, Internet.
➥Age: 18 to 30 years.
2. Junior Assistant
➥No. of posts: 70 [UR: 05, EWS: 13, OBC-NCL: 34, ST: 09 & SC: 09]
➥Essential: (i) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board or University. (ii) A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/ 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word).
➥Age: Between 18 and 27 years.

➥Nationality: The candidate must be a citizen of India.
➥Method of Recruitment: -
(i) Superintendent:
Tier-1: MCQ based preliminary screening examination.
Tier-2: Objective Type (OMR based) & Descriptive Type written main examination.
AND
A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word) will be mandatory for the post, however, it will be qualifying in nature.
(ii) Junior Assistant
Tier-1: MCQ based preliminary screening examination.
AND
A typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on Computer (35 w.p.m. and 30 w.p.m. correspond to 10500 KDPH/ 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word) will be mandatory for the post, however, it will be qualifying in nature.
➥Examination Fee: Unreserved/OBC/EWS Application Fees Rs.800/-. For SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women/Departmental Candidates Nil.
➥Centre of Exam: Guwahati and Other States.
