Details 2020
Post Name: BMC District Co-ordinator
No. of Posts: 33 (thirty-three) (One each District)
Desirable Qualification: We are looking for post-graduates in
the Life Sciences (preferably post-graduates in Botany and Zoology) having fair
knowledge of identification of local plants and animals, their scientific name,
common uses, etc. The candidates must have the ability to interact with the
communities and take records in the local language. Good computer skill
(Word/Excel) is essential.
Age: Not above 30 years
Remuneration: Rs.15,000 (rupees fifteen thousand
only) pm + contingency/Travel Allowance based on actual expenditure subject to
a maximum of Rs.5000/- pm.
Duration of Engagement: 3 months, tentatively from March to
May 2020.
Nature
of Work of ASBB Recruitment 2020
→Co-ordinator of
the BMCs in their respective Districts constituted at Zilla Parishad, Anchalik
Panchayats, Gaon Panchayats, and Municipal Board.
→Assist the BMCs
in matters related to the preparation of PBR and implementation of the Biological
Diversity Act-2002.
→Organize
workshops for sensitization and capacity building of the members of the BMCs
about their roles and responsibilities.
→Approach the BMCs
and organize meeting for the presentation and adoption of their draft PBR.
→Assist the BMCs
in drawing their Action Plans.
Area of
Work of ASBB Recruitment 2020
→The candidates
shall be required to work in one of the District of Assam (as far as possible
of his/her choice).
→The candidates
shall have to mention the names of three (3) Districts where they want to work
in order of their preferences.
