SPSC Sikkim Job Information Details
Post Name: Principal
# No. of post: 01 (One)
# Minimum Qualification:
(i) Master’s Degree (Acharya) in Buddhist Philosophy/Nyingma Philosophy with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
(ii) Consistently good academic record.
(iii) Ph.D. Degree.
(iv) 15 years college or school teaching/administrative experience.
# Other Qualification:
(i) The candidate should have been conferred with the title of “Khenpo” by Nyingma Master like H.H. Kyabje Dodrubchen Rinpoche etc.
(ii) The applicant must have done his Post graduation in Nyingma Philosophy from a recognized University.
(iii) The applicant must also have a Ph.D. degree in Nyingma sect of Tibetan Buddhism in addition to having extensive knowledge in Sutra and Tantras.
(iv) Knowledge in any one of the local languages, viz, Sikkimese Bhutia, Lepcha, Limboo or Nepali.

# Age limit: Should not have exceeded the age of 50 years (relaxable by 5 years for Government Servants) as on 31/07/2023.
Required Documents
(a) Candidate must be in possession of either Sikkim Subject Certificate or Certificate of Identification issued by the competent authority under relevant orders of the State Government.
(b) Should have Valid Local Employment Card issued by the appropriate authority of the Government of Sikkim.
(c) No Objection Certificate from the Head of Department in case of employed candidate.
(d) Marital Status certificate (for female candidate). In case of married women candidate, COI/SSC of Husband should be enclosed.
