Land Revenue Assam Recruitment Details
1. Faculties for Modern Survey
No. of posts: 03 (Three)
Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline from any recognized university having two years certificate course from ITI in Drawing, Drafting/Mapping, AutoCAD training in Mapping/Drawing.
- GIS, GPS, DGPS & ERS training completion certificate from ISO Certified agency.
- Applicant must possess good communication skill in English, Assamese and Bengali fluently.
- Diploma course in Computer Application.
- Applicant having minimum three years faculty experience from Govt. training institute in GIS, GPS, DGPS & ETS will be given preference.
Remuneration: Rs.25,000/- per month
Age limit: Maximum 65 years on 1st January, 2021.
2. GIS Analyst
No. of post: 01 (One)
Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc/M.Tech/M.Sc. (Tech) in Geo Science/Geo Informatics/Remote Sensing and GIS/Geography/Earth Science or equivalent from recognized University.
- At least 3 years experience in GIS mapping in Govt./Semi Govt/Autonomous organizations/Private Company.
- Having proficiency in Map Survey with knowledge of Geo-spatial data.
- Should be able to operate Google Earth and prepare KML files as and when required.
- Experience in AutoCAD and GIS database management.
- Should have knowledge of GIS, be able to operate QGIS/ArcGIS/GRASS and prepare/modify/update shapefiles as and when required and compile from various sources such as satellite imagery/toposheets, reports etc.
- Should have knowledge of relevant IT Software and Excel Sheets.
Remuneration: Rs.50,000/- (Fixed)
Age limit: Maximum 45 years on 1st January, 2021

(ii) GIS Analyst: Interested eligible candidates to attend the “Walk-in Interview” at Joint Director of Surveys, Assam, Dakhingaon, Guwahati-40 for MISSION BASUNDHARA to be held on 22/11/2021 from 11:00 AM in the Office of the Director of Land Records & Surveys etc., Assam, Rupnagar, Guwahati-32.
