Honorarium: Rs. 15000/- per month.

Age limit: The upper age limit for the candidates shall be 38 years as on date of notification. Age shall be relaxed by 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for ST/SC candidates. For PwD/Meritorious Sports Persons (Candidates), additional relaxation as permissible by rules shall apply.

Qualification for Manipur Education

(i) Class XII or its equivalent from a recognized board with at least 50% marks or

(ii) Class XII or its equivalent from a recognized board with at least 45% marks in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education Regulation, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002.

☑ Provided that those selected as Pre-Primary Teacher in this recruitment should mandatorily complete the Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education/Pre-School Education/Early Childhood Education Programme (D.E.C.Ed.) of duration of not less than 2 (two) years or B.Ed. (Nursery) from NCTE recognised institution within 5 years from the date of joining the service.

The examination question paper will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) carrying equal weightage as given below: -

General Knowledge and Current Affairs	Important Days, Indian History, Books and Authors, Indian National Movement, Awards and Honours, General Polity, Current Affairs National & International, Indian Economy, Capitals of India, International & National Organizations, Science - Inventions & Discoveries, Science & Technology, Sports, Abbreviations.
General English	Verb, Tenses, Voice, Subject-Verb Agreement, Articles, Fill in the Blanks. Adverb, Error Correction, Vocabulary, Antonyms, Synonyms, Grammar, Idioms & Phrases, etc.

Application Fee of Manipur Education

Date of submission of duly filled in application form along with relevant documents duly attested/self-attested and application fees of Rs.500/- for General and OBC, Rs.300/- for SC and ST shall be notified shortly.
