SRC Sikkim Recruitment Details
1. Junior Project Fellow (JPF)
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Essential: Master degree in Botany, Biotechnology, Plant Science, Horticulture, or other relevant disciplines.
- Desirable: (i) Knowledge of Phyto-sociological surveys. (ii) Plant propagation, plant tissue culture. (iii) Biochemical and biological investigation and mapping of biodiversity rich areas.
- Emolument: Rs.20,000 + HRA per month.
- Age limit: 28 Years.
2. JRF/PA-I
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Essential: First class Master degree in Botany/Biotechnology/Horticulture/Plant science or related subjects from a recognized university.
- Desirable: (i) Work experience in plant production, plant tissue culture and phytochemical analysis. (ii) Experience and sound knowledge of field work in mountainous region and plant sample collection.
- Emolument: Rs.31,000 + HRA per month.
- Age limit: 28 Years.
3. Project Associate-I (P.A-I)
- No. of post: 01 (One)
- Essential: First class Master degree in Botany, Environment science/Biological science/Natural Resources Management/RS & GIS/Bioinformation/Bio-Statistic or reverent discipline or equivalent degree in related subject from a recognized university.
- Desirable: (i) Sound communication and writing skills. (ii) Knowledge of Himalayan plant biodiversity their governance and policies. (iii) Sufficient working experience in the Himalayan region. (iv) Sound knowledge of computer packages (MS Office/RS&GIS etc.) and statistical software including AI tools.
- Emolument: Rs.31,000 + HRA per month.
- Age limit: 28 Years.
