State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT), Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Itanagar is conducting the 11th State Level Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET), 2022 in accordance with the provisions of Section 23 (I) of RTE Act 2009 as it is one of the eligibility criteria under NCTE Guidelines for the person aspiring to become teacher at Elementary Level in the schools of Arunachal Pradesh.

APTET Recruitment Details
1. Primary Level (Class I to V) Paper - I
Qualification: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with 50% marks and 02-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at last 50% marks and 04-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 02-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR Graduation with at least 50% and 02-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.).
OR Post-Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and 03-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
Age limit: Maximum Age 30 years as on 30/11/2023 (age relaxation to APST candidates as per norms).
2. Upper Primary Level (Class VI to VIII) Paper - II
Qualification: Graduation and 02-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and 01-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and 01-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04-year Bachelor in Elementary Education.
OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 04-year B.A, B.Ed. or B.Sc., B.Ed.
OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and 01-year B.Ed. (Special Education).
OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and 01 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
Age limit: Maximum age 35 years as on 30/11/2023 (age relaxation to APST candidates as per norms).
# Qualifying Marks: A candidate has to secure 60% or above to qualify the APTET and a Certificate shall be issued.
