Teachers’ Recruitment Board (TRB), Tripura has issued an official advertisement announcement for the recruitment of 1566 posts of Under Graduate Teacher (UGT) and Graduate Teacher (GT) under Elementary Education Directorate, Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura Interested and eligible candidates may apply online here.
TRB Tripura Recruitment 2025
1. UGT (For Classes I-V)
- No. of posts: 1099 [UR: 571, SC: 187, ST: 341]
- Pay: Rs.16050/- fixed per month.
- Age: Up to 40 years as on 12.12.2024. Upper age limit as per Govt. norms.
2. GT (For Classes VI-VIII)
- No. of posts: 467 [UR: 243, SC: 79, ST: 145]
- Pay: Rs.20475/- fixed per month.
- Age: Up to 40 years as on 12.12.2024. Upper age limit as per Govt. norms.
Essential Qualification for TRBT
(1) Under Graduate Teacher (For Classes I-V):
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1 year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002 (or one year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
OR
Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 1 year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known).
AND
(b) Passed Tripura-Teachers' Eligibility Test (T-TET) Paper-1 and obtained certificate issued by TRBT.
(c) Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
(d) Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) would be required while applying for jobs by direct recruitment under the State Government, Corporations, Boards, PSUs etc.
(e) Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PH category.
(2) Graduate Teacher (For Classes VI-VIII):
(a) Graduation and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, (or 1 year Diploma in Education up to academic session 2004-05) (by whatever name known).
OR
At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.). *
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-years B.A./B. Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed/B. Sc. Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor in Education (B. Ed.) (Special Education).
OR
Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.

Fee of Rs.100/- for Unreserved Category and Rs.50/- for SC/ST/PH category. Fee once paid will not be returned. Candidature of a candidate will not be accepted if TRBT does not receive the fee for whatsoever reason. Application will not be accepted if the fee is deposited after the scheduled date as mentioned above.
