APSC CCE Exam 2023: The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released an official website at apsc.nic.in with an advertisement notification for the recruitment of 235 Assistant Civil Service, Assam Police Service, Labour Officer, Superintendent of Taxes, Research Assistant, Assistant Accounts Officer, and other various vacancies. The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) will conduct the preliminary examination of the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) in 2023 for screening candidates for the main examination for recruitment to the services and posts as per the actual number of vacancies as shown below. Interested and eligible candidates may apply online for APSC CCE Recruitment 2024 starting from 17.01.2024 to 06.02.2024.

# The Combined Competitive (Main) Examination will be held in Guwahati centre only.
The tentative date for the preliminary examination is March 17, 2024 (Sunday). The main examination is tentatively scheduled for June or July 2024.
Qualification for APSC CCE 2023-24
✔The candidate must hold a degree from any of the universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed to be University under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess such qualifications as may be declared equivalent by the government.
✔A candidate should be able to speak Assamese or another official language or associate official language of the state or any of the tribal languages of the state.
✔A candidate should be registered with the District Employment Office of Assam.
✔A candidate must be an original inhabitant of Assam.
✔Candidates must possess the above-prescribed qualifications on the date of submission of their applications.
Eligibility
(a) Nationality: The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
(b) Age: The candidate should not be less than 2 years and more than 38 years of age on January 1, 2023. Relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable.
[i] By 5 years for SC/STP/STH candidates, i.e., up to 43 years.
[ii] By 3 years for 0BC/MOBC candidates, i.e., up to 41 years.
[iii] for persons with benchmark disabilities (PwBD) by 10 years.
✔The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card/Certificate issued by a recognized board or council, and no other document shall be accepted in lieu thereof for the purpose.
Fees for Preliminary Exam
✔Under the Digital India initiative by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, APSC has decided to launch its online recruitment portal with the help of CSC-SPV, a MeitY-approved organization, which will charge a processing fee of Rs. 40/- + 88% tax = Rs. 47.20/- from each candidate.
How to Apply APSC CCE Recruitment 2024?
☑ Candidates are required to apply for the Preliminary Examination online through the website "apscrecruitment.in" only. No other mode for submission of application is valid.
☑ The Online Applications can be submitted from 12.00 Noon, 17th January, 2024 to 6th February, 2024 till 5.00 P.M. after which the link will be disabled. Last date for payment of prescribed fee is 8th February, 2024 till 5.00 p.m.
☑ The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination.
☑ While submitting the Application Form, the candidate should carefully decide about his/her choice of centre for the Examination. If any candidate appears at a centre/venue other than the one indicated by the Commission in his/her-Admission Certificate, he/she will not be allowed to sit in the examination.
Note: The applicants are advised to submit only a single application. However, if, due to any unavoidable situation, he or she submits multiple applications, then the last application will be considered for candidature. Therefore, the candidates are requested to ensure that the entries in the last application are correct in all respects. The fee paid against one application number shall not be adjusted against any other application number.
