Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC), Agartala has released an official advertisement notification for the recruitment of 400 Junior Engineer, TES, Gr-V(A), Degree (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical), Group-B Gazetted and Junior Engineer, TES Gr-V(B), Diploma (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical) Group-C Non-Gazetted under Public Works Department (PWD) through the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Rules-2022. Eligibility Criteria for PWD Tripura Recruitment
Educational Qualification:
(i) Junior Engineer, Grade-V(A) Degree: -
# A candidate must have at least a degree in an appropriate branch of engineering from a recognized University or its equivalent academic qualification.
# Candidates who have obtained degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering are to be considered as equivalent to Electrical Engineering, Civil and Transportation Engineering are to be considered as equivalent to the Civil Engineering and production Engineering are to be considered as equivalent to the Mechanical Engineering. It is applicable for instant recruitment of graduate engineers only.
# Candidates who have obtained degree in Construction Technology and Management are to be considered as equivalent to the Civil Engineering branch.
(ii) Junior Engineer, Grade-V(B), Diploma
# A candidate must have a Diploma in an appropriate branch of engineering or its equivalent academic qualification from a recognized institution.
Age limit for PWD Tripura: Age must not be less than 18 years and more than 40 years as on 24.08.2023 for both above mentioned posts. Upper Age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of ST/SC/PH candidates and Government Servant. Provided that Govt. Employees belonging to ST/SC/PH category shall not get this relaxation over and above the general relaxation of 5 (five) years available to them.
Application Fee of PWD Tripura Recruitment
(i) Group-B Gazetted posts: Rs. 350/-(Rupees three hundred and fifty) for General Candidates and Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred & fifty) only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates.
(ii) Group-C non-Gazetted Posts: Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred) only for General Candidates and Rs.150/-(Rupees one hundred & fifty) only for ST/SC/BPL card holders/Physically Handicapped Candidates
(iii) SC/ST Candidates of other States (not recognized by the Govt. of Tripura) should apply for unreserved vacancy as general candidate along with recruitment fee prescribed for general candidates. Recruitment fee so deposited, is non-refundable.
