RRB NTPC Graduate Recruitment 2026
Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), have released CEN No. 06/2026 for recruitment to various Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Graduate posts.
A total of 3,548 vacancies are available for posts including Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor, Goods Train Manager, Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist and Senior Clerk Cum Typist. Eligible graduates can submit their applications online through the official RRB application portal.
The online application process starts on 8 October 2026 and the last date to apply is 6 November 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess the prescribed educational qualification from a recognized University/ Institute on or before the closing date of the online application. Candidates waiting for the final result of their qualifying examination are not eligible to apply.
Educational Qualification
For the notified NTPC Graduate posts, candidates must have a Degree from a recognized University or its equivalent.
Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed medical standards applicable to the post they choose.
Age Limit
The age will be calculated as on 1 January 2027.
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 33 years
The basic age group is 18 to 33 years. Age relaxation is available to eligible reserved and other categories as per RRB rules.

Remuneration
The posts carry the following initial basic pay under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix:
- Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor: ₹35,400 per month – Level 6
- Goods Train Manager: ₹29,200 per month – Level 5
- Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist: ₹29,200 per month – Level 5
- Senior Clerk Cum Typist: ₹29,200 per month – Level 5
Other admissible allowances and benefits will be applicable as per Railway rules.

The examination fee must be paid online through internet banking, debit/credit card or UPI. The applicable refund is provided only to candidates who appear in the 1st Stage CBT.
Exam Syllabus
The RRB NTPC Graduate selection process includes 1st Stage CBT, 2nd Stage CBT, Document Verification and Medical Examination.
For Junior Accounts Assistant Cum Typist and Senior Clerk Cum Typist, the separate typing skill test has been dispensed with under CEN 06/2026.

Mathematics Syllabus
Number System, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Elementary Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry and Elementary Statistics.
General Intelligence & Reasoning Syllabus
Analogies, Number and Alphabetical Series, Coding-Decoding, Mathematical Operations, Similarities and Differences, Relationships, Analytical Reasoning, Syllogism, Venn Diagrams, Puzzles, Data Sufficiency, Statement-Conclusion, Decision Making, Maps and Interpretation of Graphs.
General Awareness Syllabus
Current Affairs, Sports, Art and Culture, Indian Literature, Monuments and Places, General Science and Life Science up to 10th CBSE level, Indian History and Freedom Struggle, Geography, Indian Polity and Governance, Science and Technology, Computer Basics, Indian Economy, Government Schemes, Important Organisations, Environment, Transport Systems and other general awareness topics.
How to Apply
Eligible candidates can apply online by following the steps below:
- Visit the official RRB website or RRB application portal.
- Create an account if you have not already created one for an earlier RRB CEN.
- Use your active mobile number and email ID for account creation and OTP verification.
- Select CEN 06/2026 – NTPC Graduate.
- Choose one RRB and provide your post/Railway preferences.
- Enter your personal, educational and other required details carefully.
- Complete identity authentication through Aadhaar/DigiLocker as advised.
- Upload the required live photograph, signature and other documents.
- Pay the applicable examination fee online.
- Submit the application and keep a copy of the submitted form and registration details for future reference.
Candidates who have already created an RRB account for previous CENs should use the same credentials. Details entered during account creation, including the mobile number and email ID, and the chosen RRB cannot be changed later.
The application modification window will remain open from 9 November to 18 November 2026. A non-refundable modification fee of ₹250 is applicable for each modification. The details entered during account creation and the chosen RRB cannot be changed.
